What you will study

UTS Online’s Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing is comprised of four subjects. On successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing, you will have the opportunity to progress on to the Master of Advanced Nursing program.

Study pathways

The School of Nursing and Midwifery offers five online Graduate Certificate courses that articulate into the Master of Advanced Nursing. This provides you with the opportunity to choose a specialisation pathway that is most aligned with your career goals.

A general option with no major is also available. Book a preferred time with a Student Enrolment Advisor to discuss a suitable study pathway.


Note: The option to progress to the masters is available to Registered Nurses only. There is also a pathway option from the Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education to the Master of Education (Learning and Leadership).

A pathway to a Master of Advanced Nursing

UTS Online’s Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing is made up of four subjects in total. At the successful completion of their studies, students will have the opportunity to enrol into the Master of Advanced Nursing.

All subjects from the Graduate Certificate + 8 subjects from the
Master of Advanced Nursing.
