However, due to the specific professional and legislative requirements in Victoria, this course does not meet the criteria set out by the Victorian Government. Therefore, applicants from Victoria who wish to practice as a Child and Family Health practitioner in Victoria are advised not to apply. Applicants with extenuating circumstances may be assessed on an individual basis.

English language requirements apply to both international and domestic students. Please refer to the UTS English language requirements for further information on how to satisfy the requirements for the course/s.
The English proficiency requirement for international students or local applicants with international qualifications is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper-based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet-based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21; or AE5: Pass; or PTE: 58-64 with a writing score of 50; or C1A/C2P: 176-184 with a writing score of 169.

AND
- Hold a current Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration as a midwife or nurse
